Retaining the ephemeral to define the human. Lorenzo Gramaccia does not indulge reality: he reveals its structural fragility.

OVEREXPOSURE

Light does not illuminate; it blinds. Color is pure radiation. Body and landscape collapse into a single vibration at a high chromatic frequency. The boundary between the organic and the artificial dissolves. It is not vitality: it is the urgency of a burning present. An inescapable form.

ECLIPSE

The digital as a specter. The investigation descends into the shadows, and the porosity of graphite is sublimated into the digital layer, in a technical continuity that becomes an existential synthesis. Colors retreat to black and white: a dramatic minimalism exploring absence. This subtractive introspection reveals the evanescent nature of being.

SEDIMENTATIONS

Matter as memory. Paper does not forget: pencils and pastels, in dialogue with tempera and oils, accumulate on semi-transparent surfaces, giving body to the ephemeral. Every layer resists oblivion, in a tactile gesture of retaining time within the density of matter — a slow sedimentation against disappearance.
